The School Plan for Student Achievement (SPSA) is a document that represents a school’s cycle of continuous improvement for student performance. The SPSA is a comprehensive document that is grounded in data and identifies research-based instructional strategies, details school's planned actions and expenditures for improved student outcomes. A well-developed SPSA can ensure that students are better equipped to meet the California State Standards in English Language Arts and mathematics. Each plan is aligned to MVWSD’s Strategic Plan 2027 and Local Control Accountability Plan.

School Plan development follows a collaborative process between the school staff and members of the School Site Council (SSC). Other site advisory groups such as English Learner Advisory Council (ELAC) and members of the school community also provide input on the School Plan. The plan is approved by the School Site Council (SSC) and the Governing Board each year.
