Agenda Item Title: Approval of Schematic Design, Budget and Schedule for the Outdoor Learning and Greening Project at Vargas Elementary School (40 minutes)

Background:
At the meeting of the Board of Trustees on January 12, 2023, preliminary designs for the Outdoor Learning and Greening project at Vargas Elementary School were presented to the Board of Trustees. Based on comments received during that meeting and a subsequent site visit and meeting with District, site staff, and community the schematic design has been revised and refined. The design team from Carducci and Associates will present the revised plan along with budget and schedule information from Greystone West.
Due to the timing of the posting of the agenda, the presentation will be posted online.
Fiscal Implication:
Measure T Bond Program - $599,749.
Recommended Action:
It is recommended the Board of Trustees approve the schematic design, budget and schedule presented for the Outdoor Learning and Greening Project at Vargas Elementary School.
