On November 19, 2015, the District's Governing Board approved Resolution No. 1580.11/15 delegating authority to award contracts to the District's Superintendent, Chief Business Officer, Associate Superintendent(s), and Assistant Superintendent(s) pursuant to Education Code sections 17604 and 17605.

 

All contracts approved by those authorized to do so pursuant to that delegation authority are to be submitted to the District's Governing Board for ratification. Contracts that do not, however, involve an item of expenditure in excess of the bid limits specified in Public Contract Code section 20111 need only be reviewed by the District's Governing Board every 60 days.  The applicable bid limits are $15,000 for construction contracts and $99,100 in 2022 (adjusted annually) for the purchase of equipment, materials, supplies, non-construction services, or repairs including maintenance.

1. Hai Learning LLC- Will provide 10 group in-person sessions of Mandarin classes at Vargas Elementary on a weekly basis from January 17, 2023 through March 28, 2023, $5,000.00.
2. Hey Tutor Inc.- Will provide additional tutor support to students at Vargas Elementary from January 19, 2023 through June 3, 2023, $24,675.00.
3. H&M Mechanical Group- Will provide the design work required for the HVAC Phase 4 Project which will include bringing all HVAC units at Stevenson, Vargas and District Office onto the District-wide controls system, $10,000.00.
4. KYO Autism Therapy LLC- Will provide contract staffing to the Special Education Dept. during the 2022-2023 school year,$60,000.00.
5. Library Speakers Consortium- Will provide a membership for the BookBreak School Author Talk program for all school sites.  Membership will provide access to online bestselling children's author talk events for the 2022-2023 school year, $8,820.00.
6. Peninsula Youth Theater- Will provide 10 1-hour sessions of school drama classes called School Play in a Box for Vargas Elementary students from January 26, 2023 through April 27, 2023, $4,000.00.
7. Resource Area for Teaching (RAFT)- Will provide a parent engagement event for Imai Elementary students on March 21, 2023, $3,000.00.
8. Run for Fun- Will provide a lunch time activities for students at Bubb Elementary from January 23, 2023 through May 22, 2023, $1,575.00.
9. ServiceNow Inc. - Renewal (2022-2025) of software cloud computing platform to help manage digital workflow $45,000.00
10. Shine Programs LLC- Will provide lunchtime movement classes for students at Bubb Elementary from January 13, 2023 through May 19, 2023, $3,600.00.
11. Shutterfly Lifetouch Inc.- Will provide photo services, district-wide, for students and staff.  15% in the Fall and 10% in the Spring commission of total revenue back to the District from July 1, 2023 through July 01, 2026, no cost to the District.
12. West Bay Opera Association, Inc.- Will provide two in-person 45 minute performances of the Elixer of Love Opera for Bubb Elementary students on May 22, 2023, $900.00.
