Background: 

On November 19, 2015, the District's Governing Board approved Resolution No. 1580.11/15 delegating authority to award contracts to the District's Superintendent, Chief Business Officer, Associate Superintendent(s), and Assistant Superintendent(s) pursuant to Education Code sections 17604 and 17605.

All contracts approved by those authorized to do so pursuant to that delegation authority are to be submitted to the District's Governing Board for ratification. Contracts that do not, however, involve an item of expenditure in excess of the bid limits specified in Public Contract Code section 20111 need only be reviewed by the District's Governing Board every 60 days.  The applicable bid limits are $15,000 for construction contracts and $99,100 in 2022 (adjusted annually) for the purchase of equipment, materials, supplies, non-construction services, or repairs including maintenance.

1. A Touch of the Earth- Will provide two in-person 90 minute presentations on A Touch of Earth Ohlone for 3rd and 4th grade Vargas Elementary students on January 12, 2023, $550.00.
2. Axiom Analytix- Will develop a 2021-2022 SARC for each MVWSD school site, $900.00.
3. Graphic Campus- Will provide a virtual Young Author's Festival for all students at Bubb Elementary on March 28, 2023, $650.00.
4. Kidpower International- Will provide professional development online for early childhood staff on social-emotional safety skills from January 23, 2023 through May 25, 2023, $21,950 (grant funded).
5. LevyConsulting - Board Retreat teambuilding goals and activities $5,400.00.
6. Math Culture LLC, Will provide an after-school enrichment classes to students at Vargas Elementary on January 19, 2023 through March 30, 2023, $27,000.00.
7. Raft Area for Teaching (RAFT)-Will provide an in-person maker mobile van program for 17 classes at Bubb Elementay from April 3, 2023 through April 6, 2023, $6,400.00.
8. Soul Shoppe- Will provide an onsite SEL lessons for Mistral students from January 10, 2023 through May 30, 2023, $21,950.00.
9. Testing Engineers - Inspections services for the Landels and Stevenson generator projects $8,956.00.
10. The Grizzly Peak Outfit- Will provide two in-person assemblies and 2 writers workshop presentation on literature he has written on March 8, 2023, $5,000.00.
11. WinnResidential California L.P.- Will provide property management services for the District's staff housing project consisting of 143 units located at 777 W. Middlefield Road, $300 per hour not to exceed $15,000.
