Agenda Item Title:  Board Policy No. 5116.1 Intradistrict Open Enrollment

Background: 
Education Code Sections 35160.5 and 48980  require that this policy is reviewed annually by the Board of Trustees.  One change has been made to this policy.  Former priority 1 has been removed from this policy.  The Open Enrollment Act was based on the former accountability system.  As a result, the CDE can no longer identify lowest-achieving schools under the provisions of the Open Enrollment Act.

Staff recommends that the Board of Trustees approve Board Policy No. 5116.1, Intradistrict Open Enrollment as presented.
