Background:
The District has been fiscally conservative which has benefited employees and students. It has given the District the ability to quickly respond to needs during the pandemic as well as avoid layoffs and cuts. Due to one time funds and revenue coming in higher than expected the District would like to provide staff with a one time payment.
2022-2023 One Time Payment (off-schedule): The District shall provide to each eligible employee a one-time, off-schedule payment of three percent (3%) based on a unit member's 2022-2023 placement on the salary schedule (prorated based on the employees FTE) as of the date of the Governing Board approval. This amount will be paid as soon as possible. An employee must be in paid status with the District as of the date the Board approves the one time payment.
This MOU will be effective upon ratification by the Associations and approval by the Governing Board, whichever is later.
