Background:
During the Paving and Utilities Phase 2 Project, unforeseen conditions and design revisions have occurred, resulting in revisions in scope to the original project. These additions/changes require contingency money to be used. The total construction contingency of $64,961.60 was budgeted for this project. Additionally, the contract included a District-controlled allowance of $50,000.00.
Change Order No. 1 for $3,828.00 will increase the contract amount.
Fiscal Implication:
The contingency monies required for Change Order No. 1 will not exceed $3,828.00.
A summary of Change Order No. 1 is attached. There is $61,133.34 remaining in the Change Order Contingency for this project, and $0.00 remaining in the allowance.
Recommended Action:
It is recommended that the Board of Trustees approve Change Order No. 1 for the Paving and Utilities Phase 2 Project.
