Agenda Item Title: AB 361 Findings: Teleconference Meetings

Background:
AB361 permits legislative bodies to meet remotely during a state of emergency where the state of emergency directly impacts the ability of the members to meet safely in person and/or state or local officials continue to impose or recommend measures to promote social distancing. Where this finding is made, all District Board meetings, committee, advisory boards and community meetings may remain accessible either through telephonic or virtual meetings for the next 30 days.
Fiscal Implication: None
Recommended Action:
It is recommended that the Board of Trustees finds that the current state of emergency directly impacts the ability to meet safely in person, that the Santa Clara County Health Officer has recommend measures to promote social distancing, and all District Board meetings, committee, advisory boards and community meetings may remain accessible either through telephonic or virtual meetings for the next 30 days.
