Agenda Item Title: Approval of Contract Amendment No. 2 with Paladin Technologies for the Multi-Site Security Camera Project

Background:
During the construction document review for the Multi-Site Security Camera Project, District and site staff identified eight (8) additional locations around the District which would require video monitoring above what was shown in the previous round of design documents for the project. The additional locations resulted in the need for an additional eight (8) cameras. Bringing the total camera count across the District up to 286 from the originally planned 206 cameras.
Fiscal Implication:
Contract Amendment No. 2 brings the current contract value to $2,598,775 which is an addition of $38,867 from Contract Amendment No. 1. This amount remains within the originally approved budget for this project. This contract is charged to Measure T.
Recommended Action:
It is recommended that the Board of Trustees approve Contract Amendment No. 2 for Paladin Technologies for the Multi-Site Security Camera Project and authorize District staff to sign the amendment.
