Agenda Item Title: Mountain View Whisman School District Perimeter Controls Project - Phase 1- Change Order No. 2, Golden Bay Fencing, Inc.

Background:
During Phase 1 of the District wide Fencing Upgrades project , unforeseen conditions, design revisions and owner changes have occurred, resulting in revisions in scope to the original project. These additions/changes require contingency money to be used.
The total construction contingency of $187,229.00 was budgeted for this project.
Change Order No. 1 for $85,591.37 increased the contract amount to $954,510.37.
Change Order No. 2 for $4,894.53 increased the contract amount to $959,404.90.
Fiscal Implication:
The contingency monies required for Change Order No. 2 will not exceed $4,894.53. A summary of Change Order No. 2 is attached. There is $96,743.10 remaining in the Change Order Contingency for this project.
Recommended Action:
It is recommended the Board of Trustees approve Change Order No. 2 for the Mountain View Whisman School District Wide Perimeter Controls Project Phase 1.
