Background: 

Staff is presenting the District’s 2022-23 Local Control Accountability Plan for approval.  Also included for approval is the 2021-22 Supplement to the Annual Update presented for review in February, the 2021-22 Annual Update and the Budget Overview for Parents.   The LCAP and supporting documents were presented for public hearing at the June 15, 2022 meeting of the Board of Trustees.  The presentation from that meeting is included for reference.

School districts in California must develop a three-year plan, the Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP), to explain their goals and strategies for improving achievement for all students and provide updates on the prior year’s plan successes and challenges through the annual update.

The District worked with Educational Partners to revise the 2022-23 LCAP. The LCAP continues to have five goals which are directly aligned to Strategic Plan 2027 to ensure that the District’s work is transparent, aligned and targeted.  The focus of both plans is on improving outcomes for students through implementing intentional and equitable actions.
