Agenda Item Title:  Award of Contract to Pro-Cal Lighting, Inc., for the District Wide Site Lighting Project

Background: 

The Board will consider awarding a contract for the District Wide Site Lighting Project.

On April 19, 2022, the District received contractor bids for the District Wide Site Lighting Project. Four (4) proposals were received, and the apparent low responsive and responsible bidder is Pro-Cal Lighting, Inc. The District's Measure T Bond Program manager, Greystone West, has reviewed the proposal for conformance with District and statutory requirements.



Fiscal Implication:

The construction budget for this project was $2,673,000.00. The bid received from Pro-Cal Lighting, Inc., is within the allotted budget. The contract also includes an allowance of $50,000.00 added after the bid opening. Total Contract amount including the allowance is $2,476,151.00.



Recommended Action: 

It is recommended that the Board of Trustees award the contract for the District Wide Site Lighting Project to Pro-Cal Lighting, Inc. in the amount of $2,476,151.00.
