Background: 
Day of the Teacher arose out of legislation by the California Teachers Association and the Association of Mexican American Educators Day.  This year, Wednesday, May 11 is designated as "Day of the Teacher."  Teachers make a crucial difference in the lives of all the District's students.

Recommended Action: 
That the Board approve and adopt Resolution No. 01-050522 recognizing May 11, 2022 as Day of the Teacher.
