Agenda Item Title:  Approval of Schematic Design, Budget and Schedule for the District Wide Surveillance Camera Project

Background: 

During the Board of Trustees Meeting on June 17, 2021, the Board awarded a Design-Build Contract for the District Wide Surveillance Camera Project to Paladin Technologies as the design build contractor providing the best value to the District as determined by the evaluation and scoring of the Request for Qualifications and Request for Proposal (RFQ/P) submitted for the project.

 

At the Board of Trustees Meeting on January 20, 2022, the Board approved Board Policy 3515 and Administrative Regulation 3515 outlining policy and procedure for Campus Security-Video Surveillance.

 

Subsequent to the award and following establishment of the camera policy District Administration worked with the design build entity, Paladin Technologies to further develop designs and camera locations for the individual campus sites.



Fiscal Implication:

Measure T Bond Program - $3,262,190.



Recommended Action: 

It is recommended the Board of Trustees approve the schematic design, budget and schedule presented for the District Wide Surveillance Camera Project, as presented.
