Background:
During Phase 2 of the District Wide Fencing Upgrades Project, unforeseen conditions, design revisions and owner changes have occurred, resulting in revisions in scope to the original project. These additions/changes require contingency money to be used.
The total construction contingency of $26,984.00 was budgeted for this project.
Change Order No. 1 for ($131,525.00) decreased the contract amount to $138,315.00.
Change Order No. 2 for $23,108.14 increased the contract amount to $161,423.14
Fiscal Implication:
The contingency monies required for Change Order No. 2 will not exceed $23,108.14. A summary of Change Order No. 2 is attached. There is $26,984.00 remaining in the Change Order Contingency for this project.
Recommended Action:
It is recommended that the Board of Trustees approve Change Order No. 2 for the Mountain View Whisman School District Wide Fencing Upgrades Project Phase 2.
