Agenda Item Title: Approval of Bridging Architectural/Engineering Services Agreement with Guidepost Solutions for the District Wide Access Control Project

Background:
At the September 9, 2021 meeting of the Board of Trustees, the board approved the consulting services agreement with Guidepost Solutions to assist the District in the review and selection of an access control system for the project. As those services are nearing their conclusion, the District now needs Guidepost Solutions to prepare the necessary bridging documents required to put this project out to bid as a design/build project and subsequently administer the construction administration during that project.
Fiscal Implication:
Guidepost Solutions has presented a proposal in the amount of $217,080 for the required services. The proposal is within budget for design services for this project.
Recommended Action:
It is recommended that the Board of Trustees approve the Bridging Architectural/Engineering Services Agreement with Guidepost Solutions for the District Wide Access Control Project.
