Agenda Item Title: Award of Contract to Tuff Shed Inc. for the Vargas Elementary School Storage Building Project

Background:
The Board will consider awarding a contract for the Vargas Elementary School Storage Building Project.
Under the California Uniform Public Construction Cost Accounting Act (CUPCCAA), the District requested a proposal from Tuff Shed, Inc., for the fabrication, delivery and installation of a 18'x48' prefabricated storage building to be placed at Vargas Elementary School. The District's Measure T Bond Program Manager, Greystone West, has reviewed the proposal for conformance with District and statutory requirements.
Fiscal Implication:
The total contract amount will be $52,351.00 with all costs to be charged to the Measure T bond program.
Recommended Action:
It is recommended that the Board of Trustees award the contract for the Vargas Elementary School Storage Building Project to Tuff Shed, Inc., in the amount of $52,351.
