Agenda Item Title:  Approval of Schematic Design, Budget and Schedule for the Window Replacement Project at Various Sites

Background: 

The District has developed schematic designs for the Window Replacement Project. The project includes the following:

Phase 1 - Replacement of select fixed windows with operable windows at Castro Elementary School, District Office, Stevenson Elementary School and Vargas Elementary School. Phase 1 construction is scheduled for June 2022 to August 2022 pending DSA approval and material lead time.

 

Phase 2 - Replacement of existing single pane windows with dual pane windows at Bubb Elementary School, Mistral Elementary School, Crittenden Middle School, Graham Middle School, Imai Elementary School, Landels Elementary School, Monta Loma Elementary School and Theuerkauf Elementary School. Phase 2 construction is scheduled for June 2023 to August 2023.

Project Cost Budget is $18,354,903 The anticipated total project cost is $554,778.

Funding for the project is from the Measure T Bond Program.

Measure T Bond Program - $18,354,903.



Recommended Action: 

It is recommended that the Board of Trustees approve the schematic design, budget and schedule presented for the Window Replacement Project.
