Background: 
In response to bias-motivated vandalism on our campuses and acts of hate in our broader community, the Board of Trustees expressed a desire to pass a resolution affirming our commitment to ending hate.

Fiscal Implication:
None.

Recommended Action: 

It is recommended that the Board of Trustees adopt Resolution No. 01-111821 Affirming our commitment to the work necessary to fight oppression and hate in all forms and proclaiming the week of November 15 through November 19, in conjunction with jurisdictions throughout the Bay Area, as United Against Hate Week in the school district of Mountain View Whisman.
