Background:
During the Mountain View Whisman School District HVAC Modernization and Replacement Project an owner request occurred, resulting in revisions in scope to the original project. These changes require contingency money to be credited back to the District.
The total construction contingency of $485,576 was budgeted for this project.
Change Order No. 2 for ($94,831.00) will credit the contract amount.
Fiscal Implication:
The contingency monies required for Change Order No. 2 are credited back $94,831. The net change to the contract for Change Orders No. 1 & 2 is a credit back to MVWSD for $86,037.
Recommended Action:
It is recommended that the Board of Trustees approve Change Order No. 2 for the Mountain View Whisman School District HVAC Modernization and Replacement Project.
