Background:
The Mountain View Whisman School District's Board of Education is committed to removing barriers that would limit a student's access to learning. There is an inherent link between student physical health and academic success. The Mountain View Whisman School District calls on the Santa Clara County Board of Supervisors to expand access to affordable healthcare in the County's 5th District by creating a North County/West Valley health clinic.

It is recommended that the Board of Trustees adopt Resolution 02-110421 in Support of Establishing a County Health Clinic in the Northern portion of Santa Clara County, as presented.
