Agenda Item Title: Award of Architectural Services Contract to Dreiling Terrones Architecture Inc. for the Stevenson and Vargas Elementary Schools Multi-Use Building Roll Up Door Project

Background:
The Stevenson and Vargas Elementary School MUR Roll Up Door Project involves the addition of one (1) roll up door at the existing MUR building at each of the two (2) sites. The project requires the services of an architectural design firm to assist in design and construction documents, Division of the State Architect (DSA) approval, construction administration and closeout.
Fiscal Implication:
Dreiling Terrones Architecture Inc. proposed a fee for the required services in the amount of $62,560. At this time, the estimated construction cost is $170,191. The proposed fee is within the established project budget for design fees.
Recommended Action:
It is recommended that the Board of Trustees approve Dreiling Terrones Architecture Inc. as the architectural design firm and award an agreement in the amount of $62,560 to Dreiling Terrones Architecture Inc. for the Stevenson and Vargas Elementary Schools MUR Roll Up Door Project.
