Agenda Item Title: Crittenden Middle School & Vargas Elementary Marquee Project - Change Order No. 2, Escon Builders

Background:
During the Crittenden Middle School & Vargas Elementary Marquee Project, unforeseen conditions have occurred, resulting in revisions in scope to the original project. These additions/changes require contingency money to be used. The total construction contingency of $19,600 was budgeted for this project.
Change Order #1 for $7,885.01 was approved on October 7, 2021 and increased the contract amount to $203,885.01.
Change Order #2 for $3,140.79 will increase the contract amount to $207,025.80.
Fiscal Implication:
The contingency monies required for Change Order #2 will not exceed $3,140.79and will increase the contract amount to $207,025.80. A summary of Change Order #2 is attached.
Recommended Action:
It is recommended the Board of Trustees approve Change Order #2 for the Crittenden Middle School & Vargas Elementary Marquee Project.
