Background:
During the Crittenden Middle School & Vargas Elementary Marquee Project, unforeseen conditions have occurred, resulting in revisions in scope to the original project. These additions/changes require contingency money to be used.
The total construction contingency of $19,600 was budgeted for this project.
Change Order #1 for $7,885.01 will increase the contract amount.
Fiscal Implication:
The contingency monies required for Change Order #1 will not exceed $7885.01 and will increase the contract amount to $203,885.01. A summary of Change Order #1 is attached.
Recommended Action:
It is recommended the Board of Trustees approve Change Order #1 for the Crittenden Middle School & Vargas Elementary Marquee Project.
