Agenda Item Title:  Approval of Consulting Services Agreement with Guidepost Solutions for the District Wide Access Control Project

Background: 
The District Wide Access Control Project requires the services of a design services professional to provide independent third party support the District in design, review, and selection of an access control system to be implemented at all Elementary and Middle school sites throughout the District as well as the District Office and MOT yard. The system design will include both hardware and software solutions to transition from the current key system to a new electronic access control system. 

Fiscal Implication:
The proposal is within budget for design services for this project. Once a design is finalized as a result of this process, a full schematic design, budget and schedule will be presented to the Board of Trustees for review and approval.

Recommended Action: 
It is recommended that the Board of Trustees approve the Consulting Services Agreement with Guidepost Solutions for the District Wide Access Control Project.
