Background:
During the Mariano Castro Elementary and Theuerkauf Elementary School Paving Project, unforeseen conditions have occurred, resulting in revisions in scope to the original project. These additions/changes require contingency money to be used.
The total construction contingency of $45,000 was budgeted for this project. Change Order #1 for $33,334 will credit the contract amount.
Fiscal Implication: The contingency monies required for Change Order #1 will not exceed $33,334. A summary of Change Order #1 is attached.
Recommended Action: It is recommended the Board of Trustees approve Change Order #1 for the Mariano Castro Elementary and Theuerkauf Elementary School Paving Project.
