Background:
Staff will share the MVWSD Learning Recovery Plan.
MVWSD Learning Recovery Plan supports the learning progress of students who have been impacted by distance learning. This plan is designed to support students at all levels - At, Above, and Below Grade Level. The 2021-22 Learning Recovery Plan will include Core instructional changes, expanding learning time for students at all sites, and Targeted Intensive tutoring.
Outside agency contracts included as a part of this plan: FEVTutor, Inc. for Grades 3-8 Targeted Intensive Tutoring, Air Tutors for Grades K-2 Targeted Intensive Tutoring,
Professional Service Agreement for Paper Education Company Inc. for Grades 3rd-5th On-Demand Tutoring All Subjects. Contracts for their services are included for review.
Fiscal Implication:
Total cost for the Learning Recovery Plan is $3,180,000 which includes the costs for the outside agency contracts.
Recommended Action:
That the Board approves the Learning Recovery Plan, contract for FEV Tutor, Inc, contract for Air Tutors, and the Professional Service Agreement for Paper Inc. as presented.
