Background: 

EDUCATION CODE Section 44263, authorizes, on a yearly basis, any single subject class in which the holder has completed eighteen (18( semester hours of coursework or nine (9) semester hours of upper division or graduate coursework or a multiple subject class if the holder has at least 60 semester units equally distributed among the four areas of a diversified major set forth in the Education Code Section 44263, except in Special Education:

Mr. Carrol’s transcripts have been reviewed and he meets the Education Code guidelines for this local teaching assignment and has consented to the assignment.
