Agenda Item Title:  Tentative Agreement with Mountain View Educators Association (5 minutes)

Background: 

The Mountain View Educators Association, (MVEA) and the Mountain View Whisman School District negotiation team have reached a tentative agreement for the collective bargaining agreement from July 1, 2019 through June 30, 2022. The collective bargaining agreement between the District and MVEA shall remain in full force and effect, except as amended in this document, and as provided in the attached tentative agreements.   The tentative agreement includes a four percent (4%) salary schedule increase, effective July 1, 2020. The attached agreements were reached regarding Article 3, Hours; Article 5, Compensation; Article 7, Class Size and Article 12, Leaves.

A signed copy of the Tentative Agreement between MVWSD and MVEA will be uploaded to the website 72 hours prior to the Board meeting.
