Background: 

The District is in the process of updating policies at the recommendation of the California School Boards Association.

 

The proposed changes reflect state and Federal law regarding timelines and clarifies reporting procedures.

 

Board Policy No. 1312.3, Uniform Complaint Procedures (UCP) Policies and Procedures has been updated to reflect those recommendations.

None.

Recommended Action: 
That the Board of Trustees approve Board Policy No. 1312.3, Uniform Complaint Procedures (UCP), Policies and Procedures at first reading as presented.
