Agenda Item Title: Award of Project Inspection Services Contract to Construction Inspection Services, Inc. for the Solar Photo-Voltaic Phase 1 Project

The Solar Photo-Voltaic Phase 1 project involves the construction and installation of solar/photovoltaic systems at Bubb, Huff, Landels, Castro/Mistral, Graham, Vargas and Stevenson Schools. The project requires the services of a project inspection firm to provide on-site DSA project inspection.
Construction Inspection Services, Inc. has presented a service fee proposal for the required services in the amount of $129,360.00. At this time, the estimated construction cost for Phase 1 is $5,500,000. This proposal is within the established project budget for inspection fees.
It is recommended the Board of Trustees approve the service fee proposal and award of an agreement to Construction Inspection Services, Inc. in the amount of $129,360.
