Agenda Item Title: Award of Purchasing Cooperative - BuyBoard - Agreement to Public Restroom Company for the Procurement of Prefabricated Restroom Buildings for the Park Restrooms at Various Sites Project

The Board will consider for award a BuyBoard contract for the purchase of three (3) restroom buildings at Huff, Landels and Castro Elementary Schools for the Park Restrooms at Various Sites Project.
On March 30, 2021, the District received a proposal from Public Restroom Company for the procurement and installation of prefabricated restroom buildings for the Park Restrooms at Various Sites project. The contract with Public Restroom Company is in the best interest of the District to purchase the restroom buildings in a cost-effective manner. The District’s Measure T Bond Program manager, Greystone West, has reviewed the proposal for conformance with District and statutory requirements. The proposal provided is for a particular model but the District could decide to change the model as we go through the design process.
The contract amount will be $463,464 with all costs to be charged to the Measure T bond program.
It is recommended that the Board of Trustees award the BuyBoard contract for the purchase and installation of prefabricated restroom buildings for the Park Restrooms at Various Sites Project to Public Restroom Company in the amount of $463,464.00 and authorize staff to issue a purchase order for the work.
