Agenda Item Title: Award of Contract to Consolidated Networks Corporation for the Crittenden Middle School Public Address System

Background:
The Board will consider for award a contract for the Crittenden Middle School Public Address System Project.
Under the California Uniform Public Construction Cost Accounting Act (CUPCCAA), the District requested a proposal from Consolidated Networks Corporation for the installation of a campus paging system. The District’s Measure T Bond Program manager, Greystone West, has reviewed the proposal for conformance with District and statutory requirements.
Fiscal Implication:
The total contract amount will be $58,966.40 (Base bid $52,292.34 + Additive Alternate 1 $6,674.06) with all costs to be charged to the Measure T bond program.
Recommended Action:
It is recommended that the Board of Trustees award the contract for the Crittenden Middle School Public Address System Project to Consolidated Networks Corporation in the amount of $58,966.40 and authorize staff to issue a purchase order for the work.
