Agenda Item Title:  Approval to Advertise the Paving & Utilities at Castro Elementary School and Theuerkauf Elementary School Project for Competitive Bid

Background: 

At the meeting of the Board of Trustees on April 1, 2021, the Board approved the schematic design and budget for the Paving & Utilities at Castro Elementary School and Theuerkauf Elementary School Project.  The administration is now requesting permission to advertise the Paving & Utilities at Castro Elementary School and Theuerkauf Elementary School Project for competitive bids in the newspaper and a trade paper as required by the approved procedures.

The cost to advertise is incorporated into the project budget.  There is no impact to the overall budget.

It is recommended that the Board of Trustees approve the advertisement of the Paving & Utilities at Castro Elementary School and Theuerkauf Elementary School Project for competitive bids.
