Background: 
Each year the Governor and the Legislature of California designate a Wednesday in May as the "Day of the Teacher."  Teachers make a crucial difference in the lives of students and are true champions for students, schools and community.

Recommended Action: 
That the Board of Trustees approve and adopt Resolution No. 03-050621, designating May 12, 2021 as Day of the Teacher.
