Agenda Item Title: Approval to Advertise the Vargas Elementary School Parking Cover Project for Competitive Bid

Background:
At the meeting of the Board of Trustees on March 4, 2021, the Board approved the schematic design and budget for the Vargas Elementary School Parking Cover Project. The administration is now requesting permission to advertise the Vargas Elementary School Parking Cover Project for competitive bids in the newspaper and a trade paper as required by the approved procedures.
Fiscal Implication: The cost to advertise is incorporated into the project budget. There is no impact to the overall budget.
Recommended Action:
It is recommended that the Board of Trustees approve the advertisement of the Vargas Elementary School Parking Cover Project for competitive bids.
