Background:
On November 19, 2015, the District's Governing Board approved Resolution No. 1580.11/15 delegating authority to award contracts to the District's Superintendent, Chief Business Officer, Associate Superintendent(s), and Assistant Superintendent(s) pursuant to Education Code sections 17604 and 17605.
All contracts approved by those authorized to do so pursuant to that delegation authority are to be submitted to the District's Governing Board for ratification. Contracts that do not, however, involve an expenditure in excess of the bid limits specified in Public Contract Code section 20111 need only be reviewed by the District's Governing Board every 60 days. The applicable bid limits are $15,000 for construction contracts and $96,700 in 2021 (adjusted annually) for the purchase of equipment, materials, supplies, non-construction services, or repairs including maintenance.

1. Adroit Advanced Technologies, Inc. - SPED student transportation from 4/1/21 to 6/30/22. $24,000.
2. Assistance League - Provide school supplies, books and materials to Castro Elementary student community from 2021 to 2024 school years. No Cost to MVWSD.
3. Fulcrum Management Solutions (ThoughtExchange) - Annual fee for thought exchange, the online platform for exchanging ideas and surveying our stakeholders $12,000.
4. Haben Girma - Parent Engagement workshop for Parent University event on 4/8/21 from 6:00-7:00 pm. $7,500
5. New Leaf Academy - Master Contract for NPS student placement for 20/21 school year. $50,000.
6. Rhythm and Moves - Physical Education Program at Huff School for 2 hours per week. Program will run from 8/12/21 through June 3, 2022. No cost to MVWSD, $7,060 PTA to pay in full.
7. Santa Clara Office of Education - This contract is an extension of terms through December 31,2021 to complete Kognito training. Original MOU was reviewed by the board on June 4, 2020 with contract dates of July 2020 through June 30, 2021. No additional cost.
