Background: 

A crime of hate is any crime committed due to the victim’s actual or perceived race, color, religion, national origin, sexual orientation, gender, mental disability, or physical disability. 

The Mountain View Whisman School District is opposed to violence in any form, condemning hate and evil in all forms. It is committed to servicing the community most effectively and efficiently while building and reinforcing the need for community partnership and trust while protecting the health, safety, and welfare of its community.
