Background: 
The school calendar is a negotiated item under the collective bargaining agreement with the Mountain View Educators Association (MVEA).  A Calendar Committee composed of MVEA and district representatives met to develop the 2021-2022 school year calendar.  This calendar has also been reviewed by district leadership.  The committee has finalized a calendar that is being presented for Board approval.

Recommended Action: 
it is recommended that the Board of Trustees approve the 2021-2022 school calendar, as presented.
