Agenda Item Title: Approval of Dreilling Terrones Architecture Additional Service Request for the HVAC Project at Various Sites Project

Background:
The HVAC Replacement at Various Sites project includes replacement of the existing HVAC equipment at eight (8) sites. The District has requested that GPS bi-polar ionization be added to all classrooms in the original scope plus all administration/offices, multi-use/multi-purpose rooms, gymnasiums, District offices and the shared Mountain View Sports Pavilions at Crittenden and Graham Middle Schools. This additional scope of work is not included in the scope of services originally approved in Dreilling Terrones Architecture’s proposal.
Fiscal Implication:
Dreilling Terrones Architecture has presented an additional service fee proposal for the required services in the amount of $69,520. This proposal is within the established project budget for design contingency - Measure T.
Recommended Action:
It is recommended the Board of Trustees approve the additional service fee proposal for Dreilling Terrones Architecture in the amount of $69,520 and award the Addendum for additional services to their existing agreement.
