Agenda Item Title: Approve Pool of Project Inspection Consultants to Propose on Measure T Construction Projects

Background:
The purpose of this agenda item is to approve a pool of consultant firms that responded to the District’s December 17, 2020, request for statement of qualifications (“RFQ”) for project inspection services for construction, maintenance, repair, or related projects as needed and the District’s Measure T Bond Program (“Project(s)”). The District is complying with the procurement process required by Government Code section 4525, et seq. Two (2) project inspection firms responded to the RFQ. The District evaluated each firm’s response to the following criteria of the RFQ.

District staff is recommending that the Board approve the two (2) firms who responded, identified below, to be in the District’s pool of project inspection firms for the Projects.

2. DFE & Associates

Once the Board approves this pool of project firms, the District will solicit proposals from that pool as each Project is ready for project inspection services and will enter into agreement(s) with the successful firm(s) in the form of Agreement attached to this Board item, which will be brought to the Board for approval.
Fiscal Implication:
None
Recommended Action:
It is recommended that the Board of Trustees approve the above list of project inspection firms to be in the District’s pool of inspection firms for the Projects, based on District’s procurement and selection process identified herein.
