Agenda Item Title: Approve Pool of Hazardous Materials Consultants to Propose on Measure T Construction Projects

Background:
The purpose of this agenda item is to approve a pool of consultant firms that responded to the District’s December 17, 2020, request for statement of qualifications (“RFQ”) for Hazardous Materials Consulting services for construction, maintenance, repair, or related projects as needed for the District’s Measure T Bond Program (“Project(s)”). The District is complying with the procurement process required by Government Code section 4525, et seq. Three (3) Hazardous Materials Consulting firms responded to the RFQ. The District evaluated each firm’s response to the following criteria of the RFQ.

District staff is recommending that the Board approve the three (3) firms who responded, identified below, to be in the District’s pool of Hazardous Materials Consulting firms for the Projects.
1. Norbay Consulting

3. Millenium Consulting Associates

Once the Board approves this pool of project firms, the District will solicit proposals from that pool as each Project is ready for Hazardous Materials services and will enter into agreement(s) with the successful firm(s) in the form of Agreement attached to this Board item, which will be brought to the Board for approval.
Fiscal Implication: None
Recommended Action:
That the Board of Trustees approve the above list of Hazardous Materials firms to be in the District’s pool of hazardous materials consulting firms for the Projects, based on District’s procurement and selection process identified herein.
