Agenda Item Title: Slater Elementary School Increment 4 Project Change Order No. 2 – Rodan Builders, Inc.

Background:
During the Slater Elementary School Increment 4 Project, unforeseen conditions, design changes, and owner requests have occurred, resulting in additions/changes in scope to the original project. These additions/changes require contingency money to be used.
The total construction contingency of $202,346 was budgeted for this project.
Change Order #1 for $86,647 was approved on August 22, 2019.
Change Order #2 for $115,426.22 will reduce the remaining contingency amount to $272.78 with 100% of the project complete.
Fiscal Implication:
The contingency monies required for Change Order #2 will not exceed $115,426.22. A summary of Change Order #2 is attached.
Recommended Action:
It is recommended the Board of Trustees approve Change Order #2 for the Slater Elementary School Increment 4 Project.
