Background: 

On December 12, 2019 the board approved the Master Facility Plan that prioritized safety, operational efficiency and short term growth as well as a priority list for completion.  

 

An election was held in the Mountain View-Whisman School District on March 3, 2020 for the issuance and sale of general obligation bonds for various purposes with a maximum amount of $259,000,000 (“Measure T”).

 

Due to COVID and emerging needs staff is bringing options to amend the priority list for Measure T.  These options include adding outdoor learning spaces, a covered parking area at Vargas, relocating Vargas's marquee sign, adding a marquee sign at the back of Crittenden and remodeling Mistral's front office (originally a Measure G project)..

 


Fiscal Implication:

The cost of adding outdoor learning spaces, a covered parking area at Vargas, relocating Vargas's marquee sign, adding a marquee sign at the back of Crittenden and remodeling Mistral's front office is $11,734,364.
