Background:
During the District Office Board Room Audio Visual System Project unforeseen conditions, design changes, and owner requests have occurred, resulting in additions/changes in scope to the original project. These additions/changes require contingency money to be used.
The total construction contingency of $19,988.30 was budgeted for this project.
Change Order #1 for $5,498.69 will reduce the remaining contingency amount to $14,489.61 with 100% of the project complete.
Fiscal Implication:
The contingency monies required for Change Order #1 will not exceed $5,498.69. A summary of Change Order #1 is attached.
Recommended Action: It is recommended the Board of Trustees approve Change Order #1 for the District Office Board Room Audio Visual System Project.
