Agenda Item Title:  Notice of Completion – Castro and Stevenson Elementary Schools New Playgrounds

Background: 

On March 7, 2019, the Board approved the construction contract for the Castro and Stevenson Elementary Schools New Playgrounds Project from Measure G funds.  The Board approved the award of the project to Terramark General Engineering Contractors, Inc. in the amount of $214,000.

 

Work on this project is now substantially complete.



Fiscal Implication:

The District currently holds retention in the amount of $10,700, or 5% of the contract value.  After a minimum of thirty-five (35) days after the filing of the Notices of Completion with the County of Santa Clara recorder, the District will release the retention amount provided all remaining close out and punch list items have been completed.



Recommended Action: 

The Board approve the filing of the Notice of Completion for the Castro and Stevenson Elementary Schools New Playgrounds Project.
