Background:
On May 16, 2019, the Board approved the construction contract for the Portable Refresh at Bubb Elementary School, Huff Elementary School, Landels Elementary School, Preschool at Latham, Theuerkauf Elementary School, Crittenden Middle School and Graham Middle School Project from Measure G funds. The Board approved the award of the project to BRCO Contractors, Inc. in the amount of $2,034,000.
Work on this project is now substantially complete.
Fiscal Implication:
The District currently holds retention in the amount of $101,700, or 5% of the contract value. After a minimum of thirty-five (35) days after the filing of the Notices of Completion with the County of Santa Clara recorder, the District will release the retention amount provided all remaining close out and punch list items have been completed.
Recommended Action:
The Board approve the filing of the Notice of Completion for the Portable Refresh at Bubb Elementary School, Huff Elementary School, Landels Elementary School, Latham PreSchool, Theuerkauf Elementary School, Crittenden Middle School and Graham Middle School Project.
