Agenda Item Title: Notice of Completion – Portable Refresh at Crittenden Middle School and Cooper School Re-Roof Replacement Project

Background:
On May 16, 2019, the Board approved the construction contract for the Crittenden Middle School and Cooper School Re-Roof Replacement Project from Measure G funds. The Board approved the award of the project to Joseph Murphy Construction, Inc. in the amount of $630,575.
Work on this project is now substantially complete.
Fiscal Implication:
The District currently holds retention in the amount of $31,529, or 5% of the contract value. After a minimum of thirty-five (35) days after the filing of the Notices of Completion with the County of Santa Clara recorder, the District will release the retention amount provided all remaining close out and punch list items have been completed.
Recommended Action:
That the Board approve the filing of the Notice of Completion for the Crittenden Middle School and Cooper School Re-Roof Replacement Project.
