Agenda Item Title: MVWSD Portable Refresh Project Change Order No. 1– BRCO Contractors

Background:
During the MVWSD Portable Refresh Project, unforeseen conditions, design changes, and owner requests have occurred, resulting in additions/changes in scope to the original project. These additions/changes require contingency money to be used.
The total construction contingency of $203,400 was budgeted for this project.
Change Order #1 for $155,982.16 will reduce the remaining contingency amount to $47,417.84 with 100% of the project complete.
Fiscal Implication:
The contingency monies required for Change Order #1 will not exceed $155,982.16. A summary of Change Order #1 is attached.
Recommended Action:
That the Board of Trustees approve Change Order #1 for the MVWSD Portable Refresh Project.
