Background: 

During the Castro & Stevenson Playground Extension Project, unforeseen conditions, design changes, and owner requests have occurred, resulting in additions/changes in scope to the original project. These additions/changes require contingency money to be used.

 

The total construction contingency of $21,400 was budgeted for this project.

 

Change Order #1 for $4,072 will reduce the remaining contingency amount to $17,328 with 100% of the project 

Fiscal Implication:
The contingency monies required for Change Order #1 will not exceed $4,072. A summary of Change Order #1 is attached.

Recommended Action: 

That the Board of Trustees approve Change Order #1 for the Castro & Stevenson Playground Extension Project.
